Parks & Recreation - About Us

The City of Easton's recreation programs are run with the assistance of a very hard working, volunteer Recreation Board. The recreation board consists of 8 Easton residents and a member of City Council.

The current Recreation Board members are:

Councilman - Roger Ruggles
Joe Cuvo - Recreation Board President
Shawn Langen - Bylaws/Lacrosse
Joe Cuvo - Special Events
Tom Lisinnichia - Jr. and Sr. Legion Baseball
Josh Warman - Soccer
Scott Munkirs - Youth Baseball
Scott Ransom - Football
Bill Stocker - Softball
Jennie Sutton - Cheering

The recreation board meets every third Tuesday of the month except July and December. The meetings are open to the public and are held on the third floor of City Hall in the Conference Room.

In addition to coordinating the recreational sports, the recreation board is involved in special events within the Easton community. The recreation board is instrumental in producing events such as the the Easter Egg Hunt, the Memorial Day parade and Santa on Centre Square.

Recreational Sports

The City of Easton Recreation Bureau currently offers 7 sports. In the fall, we offer football, soccer, fall basketball and cheerleading for children. In the spring, we offer baseball and softball, lacrosse and soccer for children.
