Grants Administration

Overview

Local governments, such as the City of Easton, Delaware and Lehigh Riversoften proceed through a rigorous application process in order to receive grants from other governments - particularly at the County and Federal levels - as well as from nonprofit and private entities that would enable the funding of new initiatives and projects throughout the City. As highlighted by the Government Finance Officers Association, "grants come with specialized requirements that can apply to the general operations of the grant, specific compliance rules, monitoring of other parties that may receive resources from the grants, and specialized reporting requirements." In turn, many local community organizations do not have the capacity or the dedicated staff and expertise to complete the grant process. Our knowledgeable grant personnel are prepared to assist external partners when and where possible.

The City's DCED continues to examine opportunities that would positively impact the surrounding community and fund critical priorities. Below, you'll find a list of recent grants awarded to the City, including for projects that remain actively in progress.

Should you have any questions about grant administration, or would need assistance in navigating your own process, please contact the City's Grant Administrator, T. David Pinho. You can also call 610-250-6653.
